Do Not Let Your Ego Lead to a Break-up

You love him and he loves you, but you fight sometimes for simple things, irrespective of the fact that you say you love each other. You have him and you know he is the chosen one but you can't help yelling at him and analyzing things your own way.

He tells you, calmly and patiently, that you need to wash your plate but you face him and say that you had an agreement, she works and you do the dishes. Anyway, this is just an example.

You get angry, tell him you give up any house activity and take the remote to watch a TV show that he hates. More than that, you turn it on louder so that he can listen to it.

He tries reconciliation, although the fault is yours but he is not successful and he gives up. He goes to the other room, listens to music and hopes you will pass over your super ego. But you...you are determined to have the last word although this damages your relationship.

Advice

First of all, be wise. Don't take into consideration small things. Maybe he wants you to get more mature (he wants to marry a woman not a kid). Show you are an adult he can count on and not a little girl.

When you know he is right, say this. It is a way to avoid misunderstanding and unpleasant talks after. You may end up apologizing.

Finally don't let unimportant issues destroy your relationship. Don't forget he loves you and stands by your side. He loves you and is there for you no matter what.
